Fetch...

When mom was done touring the yard I got to play fetch. I LOVE to chase the ball but I don't really like giving it back.

Some times I run so fast that the ball flies right out of my mouth!

When I get done playing I just keep the ball and go lie down.

Relaxing

It was a nice day out today. Mom thinks it's too cold but I think it's just perfect.

While mom wandered around the yard checking out her new flowers,

I took some time to relax in the sun.

Play Date

Tuesday Willow and Stella came over to play. I was so excited to see them!! We had lot's of fun running around, being crazy. Here are some pics.

"Peaceful" Evening

Last night dad and I had a nice time lounging around, reading the paper, and resting.

Then it was time for WRESTLING !!!!

Dad always get's tired way before I do!!!

Pheasants

When mom and dad were coming home from the party they got to see some pheasants. I LOVE chasing pheasants!! Mom said these were dumb pheasants though, they didn't even fly or run away when they drove by them. They even had time to stop and look at them and take pictures!! I bet I could have caught them in seconds.

Here is a picture of me when I was 1 1/2, it was my 2nd season of hunting.

Me and my pheasants

Anninversary Party

The end of last week my mom and dad were busy getting ready for my grandparents 40th Wedding Anniversary. They didn't have a lot of time to play with me, but I made sure they knew I was there and could help out too. For instance, while they were making these flowery things, I volunteered to be the table!! I made a great table if I do say so myself!

As usual I had to stay at home while mom and dad went to the party. Willow got to go though. She said grandma and grandpa liked it alot but there wasn't much for dogs to do. I guess I didn't miss anything exicting. I did hear that there was a great BIG cake and cookies though, I would have liked to try them!!

Mom & Dad's Trip

Here are some photos of Mom & Dad's trip to the races in Texas.

Mom and dad camped out while they were there.

This is a photo of the garage area of the track.

This is one Mom & Dad's favorite drivers.

The cars getting ready to take the green flag.

This is dad having fun poping popcorn over the campfire!!!

This is Lily!!!

She lives where mom and dad camped.

She kept and eye on mom and dad and their friends.

I've never met Lily but mom says she is really nice and she likes tummy rubs like me, so she can't be all that bad!

THERE BACK !!!!

Hello!!!
This has been a busy week! Mom and Dad FINALLY came home on Monday. I was so excited to see them! I gave them both a BIG kiss! Then I helped them unpack the truck.

They even brought me home a present, at least I think it's for me!? It's a tire off of a race car. It has all kinds of good smells on it. It looks like a lot of fun to play with and chew on!

I like the present but I hope they don't leave again for awhile. I have been keeping a very close eye on them since they came home!

They have been busy this week running around all over the place but they never stay away too long. Every time they get in the truck I check for suitcases! So far so good.

Lonely Boy

Dear Mom & Dad,
Come home soon. I really, really, really miss you! I am missing you so much that I didn't even eat my breakfast this morning.
I've been having lots of fun playing with Willow & Stella, and Grandma has been taking good care of me. But, it's just not the same being here without you. So, please, come home soon!!!
Love,
Talon

It's play time again

Tonight Aunt Laura, Willow, and Stella came over again, with Grandam to play with me.

Hurry up and get me out of here so we can play!!!

Tonight we even had another visitor. A yellow Lab (who looked a lot like Stella) named Tucker came running up the alley. I think he saw us having such a good time together that he wanted to come join us and play too, but his owner wouldn't let him. We were all nice to him, and sniffed noses.
Stella and I spent some time playing tug-of-war with my green ring, after we got it back from Willow who found it in the yard and kept running laps carrying it in her mouth.

Come on Stella, it's mine!

After running some laps together, we all took a detour into my pen. THen Stella started eating my breakfast from this morning (that I didn't eat, cause I was kinda sad). But, I couldn't let Stella eat MY FOOD, so I pushed her out of the way and gobbled it up!

Mmmmm... yummy old breakfast

Like always, the girls and I had lots of fun together, but because the weather was so warm today, we got tired very quickly.

Visitors, Yay!!!

I have been kinda lonely and bored since Mom & Dad left me last night. I had been sorta suspicious this week, because they kept messing around with the camper. Then yesterday mom came home early and soon after dad came home, they got in the truck, with the camper attached behind, and left WITHOUT ME! :o(

This morning, I was REALLY happy when Grandma showed up to give me breakfast and let me out to run around. I didn't get to run for too long though, because it was kinda rainy.

Then later this afternoon, Grandma stopped by to say hi to me again. She parked in the driveway and went to a yard sale at the neighbors house, but she said she would be back later to visit me again.

Are you coming to visit me? I think you are!!!

Later tonight, Grandma came over again! Three times in one day, that's GREAT! Aunt Laura came along too, with Willow and Stella. I was so excited to see them that I started running as soon as I got out of my pen.

Gotta run!

The girls and I had TONS of fun playing together. We chased one another around the yard, we played with my green ring toy, and we sniffed around together.

Even when mom & dad go away, I still get a chance to play

Stella and I usually play the most, and roughest, together. She is lots of fun to play with, but she always bites my ears.

If you get me, I'll get you back Stella!

I also had lots of fun chasing Willow around the yard. Stella always tries to bite my ears, and I always try to bite Willow's ears. It's only fair, you know. I think Willow would rather run than do anything else.

Willow, your so fun to chase.

Willow and Stella had lots of fun playing together in my yard too. They like to chase one another (Stella does most of the chasing).

Stella can only catch Willow, if Willow stops to sniff.

The three of us ran around for a long time, while Aunt Laura watched us and took pictures. Grandma was inside the house feeding the fish. We all got pretty worn out and thirsty running around, so we had to rest a bit.

Gotta rest now.

Pretty soon, it started to sprinkle more rain and the girls had to go home. But, my nice Grandma gave me a treat for being a good boy when I got back into my pen. This made me extra happy!!!

Bye girls!

Well, that's about all I have to say about my visitors tonight. When they left, I checked out some dinner and lounged around in my pen for the rest of the night.

Here is one more silly picture of me for the road.

Oh yeah, be sure to check out Aunt Laura's blog post for a few more pictures from our play date tonight.
