2 WEEKS !!!!

Wow, I can't believe that it's been almost 2 WEEKS since I last my last update. Time sure does fly! I'm not sure where it went either. Let me see if I can remember... well... daddy brought me home a bright yellow soccer ball. That was exciting.

Then when it was really hot out mom brought out my BIG water bucket. I'm not sure why, I guess she thought I might be really thirsty. She filled it up with nice cool water from our hose, the water tasted great.

Then there was the BIRDS... mom and I were hanging out in the yard one evening and all of a sudden I smelled something. I ran around until I found the source and low and behold there was a baby bird hiding in mom's flowers! Then my mom found another one in her other flower bed. Maybe mom it's such a bad bird dog after all. Anyway, she said they must have fallen out of our pine tree. I wasn't really concerned where they came from I just wanted to pounce them but mom wouldn't let me. She made me sit there and keep and eye on them while she called dad. Eventually one died, I had nothing to do with it I SWEAR !!! The other one must have gotten stronger and flew away cuz I haven't smelled it in awhile.

Then I got a goose!!! Okay it was just a stuffed one but I was really cool. I don't have any stuffed animals like my friend Willow and daughter Stella. They have TONS!!! Mom says I'm too ruff with my toys and they wouldn't last long. Then mom saw the goose at a garage sale and she thought I would like it, so she spent a quarter and got it for me. I had a lot of fun playing with it and chewing on it, but then I kinda got carried away and it's head flew off!!!! Wooooooops! It was an accident!!! Now I have to wait for mom to fix him before I can play with him again. Hopefully she does it soon, I miss him. Maybe she was right and I am a little too ruff. I will try to be more carefull next time.

Ouch

Mom and Dad noticed that I had gotten a scratch on the side of my head the night of my birthday. I wasn't really bothering me any but they kept checking on it the last few days. They must have thought it was getting worse cause the took me to the doctor today. At first I thought I was going to get to go for a walk cause mom got out my leash but then we got in the truck and took off. I figured it out when I saw Milo, the dog at the doctors house. The doctors visit wasn't tooo bad, I guess. The doctor said I must have gotten scratched and it got infected somehow. I had to hold REALLY still because they shaved some hair off my head!!!! Then I got a SHOT!!! Now I have to take some pills, which isn't too bad because I get a treat along with it. Mom and dad also have to put this gooey stuff on my sore, I don't like it because it stings. :(

It looks worse than it is I think. It doesn't really bother me until they put on the gooey stuff. Well I had better go. It's my bed time.

MY BIRTHDAY

Birthday Boy

Yesterday was my birthday!!!!

I had a great day, I got to lounge around in the yard morning. In the afternoon Mom, Aunt Laura, Aunt Becky, Stella, Willow and I all went on a long walk in honor of my birthday. Then afterwards Mom, Dad, Aunt Laura, Stella, Willow and I got to go to the park to run. We were kinda worn out from the walk but we still had lots of fun because we got to run FREE, instead of on our leashes. Here are some shots of my day.

Grandma made me birthday treats. They are VERY yummy!!!! Thanks Grandma!! Thanks Willow and Stella for coming over and spending the afternoon with me !!

Yeaaaaa, more water

When mom wasn't looking (she was watching dad) I went exploring and found the river. I had to run down a very steep bank to get there though. Mom was worried that I would not be able to get back up. I suprised her though, I'm great at climbing cliffs. Dad says it's because I have 4 wheel drive!!!

Well that was my fun and exciting tuesday evening.
